CoNavigant Enterprises, Ltd., is pleased to announce that Northwest Mettech Corporation has engaged CoNavigant to provide services suppporting a new strategy including technology licensing. Mettech has industry-leading technology for industrial thermal spray applications.

Recently, Mettech’s technology has been selected by General Electric for thermal barrier coating on its new aircraft jet turbine blades, which will be used on Boeing’s new fleet of 787 aircraft. In addition, Mettech has been accepted by the United States Air Force for certain applications.

Besides coatings for aerospace turbines and landing gear, the technology has applications in newer cleantech industries, such as efficient layering for solid oxide fuel cells and thin film photovoltaics, both expected to experience rapid growth.
